Racing Club Warwick Extend Partnership with Claverdon FC

Racing Club Warwick are delighted to announce that we have extended our partnership with Claverdon FC which will see their First Team play their home matches at Townsend Meadow.

Our partnership with Claverdon FC began in 2022, Which saw the club use the 3G facilities at Townsend Meadow for their teams winter training and we are proud to now provide a home ground for their First Team fixtures.

Claverdon FC, who compete in the Birmingham & District Football League, have made a fantastic start to the current season, sitting top of the table with four wins from four. Their recent success builds on an impressive 2024/25 campaign, which saw them lift the Birmingham County Saturday Amateur Cup.

The extended partnership sees the facilities at Townsend Meadow being further utilised, with both Leamington Lions Ladies—who are in their second season playing at Townsend Meadow & now Claverdon First Team using the ground for their First Team matches.

Racing Club Warwick Vice Chairman Ryan Goode Said “We are very pleased to have Claverdon FC play their First Team fixtures here at Townsend Meadow. It’s been a shame that our facilities have not been utilised every other Saturday afternoon when our men’s first team are away but with this latest partnership its now great to see them being fully utilised by the local community. Over the past 12 months, we have been able to add further improvements to the stadium by installing energy-efficient LED floodlights, and with our new changing rooms, hospitality, and academy classrooms now under construction"
