Racers Remain in NPL Midlands

The FA have now released the 2025/26 National League System club allocations for Steps 2-6.

The allocations follow the completion of the recent league play-offs at Steps 3 to 6 of the NLS. Step 1 will be confirmed on completion of the play offs.

These allocations are subject to appeals and any amendments to these will be confirmed in due course.

The allocations see the Racers remain in the Northern Premier League Midland Division

Leaving the League:
 

1. Quorn – Promoted to Step 3
2. Worcester City – Promoted to Step 3
3. Grantham Town – Relegated to Step 5
4. Lye Town – Relegated to Step 5
5. Rugby Town – Relegated to Step 5

Joining the League:
 

1. Basford United - Relegated from Southern League Premier Central
2. Belper Town - Laterally moved from Northern Premier League East
3. Bourne Town - Promoted from United Counties League Premier Division North
4. Carlton Town - Laterally moved from Northern Premier League East
5. Lichfield City - Promoted from Midland Football League Premier Division
6. Mickleover - Relegated from Southern League Central
7. Rugby Borough - Promoted from United Counties League Premier Division South
8. St Neots Town - Promoted from United Counties League Premier Division South
