Racing Club Warwick's Walking Football Team recently gathered for a special photo with the local paper to celebrate the release of the book, Gentlemen, Gentlemen — written by one of our very own players, Phil Haycock.

Fourteen months ago, Phil set out to write a book about the development of the Racing Club Warwick Walking Football Club — capturing the stories, journeys, and friendships of many of our Walking Football Members. 

What started as a passing comment from one of our members turned into a project for Phil who decided to put pen to paper to tell the real-life stories of our Walking Football Members. The result is a beautifully written and personal book,

Phil was recently joined by Holly from the Aylesford Unit, along with some of his fellow Walking Football committee members, to mark a major milestone: through £2 from every book sold, along with kind donations from players and the committee, we’ve proudly raised £500 for the Aylesford Unit at Warwick Hospital — a fantastic effort from everyone involved.
