Racing Club Warwick entertained high flying Sporting Khalsa and a double by Josh McKenzie proved the difference as Khalsa went back to the top of the table on goal difference.
With Skipper Turner one of several players out with injury there were debuts for Ben Stokes and Harry Holloway with Jarrell Hylton and Mussy Nduna dropping to the bench.
The first half saw Khalsa making the most of what few opportunities there were with Racing Club keeper Charlie Bannister in goof form as he kept Khalsa out on three occasions.
On 29 minutes Bannister parried away an effort by Gaz Singh from the edge of the area and then two minutes later pulled off a good save to deny Liam Armstrong from a Mensah Kinch cross.
The game was paused for a few minutes as a running battle between Khalsa's McKenzie and Racing's Joe Smith and Chris Johnson reached boiling point and yellow cards were dished out accordingly. On the stroke of half time Bannister made an error which saw McKenzie fire home from close range.
Holloway almost equalised at the start of the second half but his stretched effort, after some great work from Danny Fraser on the left, went over the bar. Two minutes later and McKenzie doubled the visitors lead with an easy finish after the ball had been knocked back across the goal.
Racing huffed and puffed and introduced Hylton and Nduna but were left well short of the early season pace setters.
