Racing Club Warwick slumped to defeat in Stourport with a poor showing.
With the returning Trea Bertie up front with Curvin Ellis and Jarrell Hylton and a debut start for Ty Knight Racing started brightly and Hylton could have done better after being put through but after coming inside his shot was blocked. The midfield three though looked lacklustre and the recently returned Luke Cole and Kevin Thornton seemed to lack sharpness in the middle and Stourport were on top for the remainder of the game without looking like scoring. Charlie Bannister saved well from close range in the first half but It took until the 72nd minute for the deadlock to be broken. A long clearance was headed back by Joe Smith to Sean Castleton who's under-hit back pass was picked up by Jack Downing who slotted home.
Racing host high flying Sporting Khalsa on Saturday, kickoff 3pm at Townsend Meadow.
