Racing Club Warwick put on a poor showing against their fellow promotion rivals from last term and were two down inside 12 minutes.
The first few minutes Racing kept the ball well on a pitch with extremely long grass and it looked as though if that was the Heather plan to restrict Racing from playing football it would fail. But, 7 minutes in a miss-hit shot went straight to Heather's Farquarson and the big man finished well with no Racer reacting. Just a few minutes later another long range effort was palmed out by Charlie Bannister and again the big man slotted home well. This woke Racing up and Muzzy Nduna was unlucky to have hit shot deflected wide and Chris Johnstone had a long range effort tipped over. Mzungwana had along range effort deflected wide and Scott Turner had a header from the resulting corner. It looked as if Racing were on top now but then Danny Brain was dismissed for retaliation on half time.
Second half and ten man Racing were put to the sword. Bannister produced a fine save to prevent Farquarson's hat-trick as Heather had several chances to extend the lead. Moudime then chopped down Clarke in the box and he got up to put the game well out of reach for Racing.
Clarke narrowly fired wide before substitute Evans added to the misery.
