Racing Club Warwick travelled to Littleton less than 40 hours after losing in the Birmingham Midweek cup final to Atherstone to end their league season. Having already secured fifth place, which was the highest placing for many year, a threadbare side battled to try and end the league campaign on a high. With Scott Davis making his debut in goal, Warwick started brightly but top scorer Sean Kavanagh fired over. Despite having the best of the early possession Dan Carter opened the scoring after stealing the ball from the Warwick back-line and doubled the lead with a free kick after Davis had been adjudged to pick up a back pass. Warwick now looked like they had played 20 games in five weeks and Littleton threatened to run riot. Davis made two fine saves either side of the break before Littleton added a third on 67 and fourth on 69 minutes with goals from Agar before a cheeky Kavanagh back heel made it 4-1. Last kick of the game saw Hutchcox chest into his own goal and the season came to an end.
