Racing went to an in-form Cadbury looking themselves to return to winning ways after the previous weekends home defeat to Heath Hayes. On a miserable day it never looked likely to happen for Warwick and Cadbury were by far the better side in the first half with Racing creating very little. Indeed, although Racing played much better second half the Cadbury keeper had very little to do but eventually a thin looking Warwick side, still with several key players missing, conceded in the 85th minute to a fine strike. With Warwick pressing for an equaliser, Cadbury sealed the points with a long range effort that Piggott did well to push onto the bar but the spinning ball just crossed the line despite the efforts of Hutchcox. Racing will look to strengthen the squad between now and seasons ends and hope to get back to wining ways at Lichfield, as they strive to seal an FA cup place for next season.
