Racing Club Warwick chalked up a record win against struggling Southam United, scoring 15 times without reply, even getting a mention from Jeff Stelling as the result came into Sky Sports. If Racers thought they had problems with several first team players still missing then Southam's plight was more worrying as they started the game with 10 men. Jamie Smith netted five times, including a first half hat-trick, with Malley, Slevin and Brown each notching a brace with Vadasz, Wright, Chouchane and Harbon adding to the goal list. With Racing 5 up after just 26 minutes, Southam did well to see out the first half at the same score with keeper Reading making some good stops, but it didn't take long for Racing to get back on track after the break. Smith's fourth goal was a special effort and Vadasz scored the pick beating four men on the left before rounding the keeper and slotting in from a tight angle. Racing travel to Bromsgrove on New Years Eve in good spirits but again with injury doubts and suspensions hampering the squad, before entertaining Studley on January 2nd at Townsend Meadow.
