Racing Club Warwick threw away a two goal advantage against a resilient Atherstone. Price put Warwick ahead on the stroke of half time with a low drive from a free kick after Malley was brought down and when Malley headed home from a superb cross from Wright on 58 minutes it looked like Racing had the points sown up. Despite conceding almost immediately, Racing still looked threatening and Wright was unlucky after a swivel shot cannoned back off the post and Malley came close after a fine run down the right hand side. The adders though equalised and then on looked like a side that will look to challenge the top sides in the league as they put the Racers to the sword.
Racing have looked to strengthen and will add new signings this week. The Racers are home next Saturday against Coventry Copeswood.
