Warwick travelled so Solihull to face Highgate United in the FA Vase and ended their recent winless run with a thumping victory.
It took Racing just seven minutes to score but Joe Davison's finish was harshly ruled offside before Sam Jackson and Tom Smith both come close in the opening 15 minutes with Lewis Fenney helping to keep Warwick out with some smart stops. It took 32 minutes for Warwick to finally get off the mark with captain Mason Rowley cleverly backheeling to Tom smith who coolly slotted high into the net.
Racing doubled their lead on 37 minutes with Rowley smashing home a powerful header from Jackson's corner and looked comfortable and likely to run away with it but the hosts gave themselves a lifeline just before the break when Anthony Smith robbed Fortune Maphosa on the half way line and sped away to finish past Brandon Ganley. A minute later and Smith was through again but Maphosa pulled off a world class tackle to prevent the equaliser.
Second half and Tyreece Ruddock was introduced and was immediately in the action. A pinpoint cross from the wide man found Nick Seabourne who headed the third on 58 minutes and he then scored himself ten minutes later with a great shot past Fenney.
The fifth came on 83 minutes with Nick Seabourne notching his second against his former club after challenging Fenney and scoring into the open goal.
Racing travel to Stourport on Tuesday before travelling to Boldmere on Saturday.
