Racing Club Warwick's unbeaten start continued but they missed the opportunity to go top in a draw with early leaders Studley. Looking the better side throughout Racing almost scored when Bridges set Knight through who's first touch got him away from the last man but his shot went just past the far post before a Bridges stab shot after a fine Knight run and cross went just wide also. Bridges almost scored when a Naven-Jones cross was chested just wide. Tom Cross was the less busy keeper and had to palm over a cross-shot but the Racers looked comfortable and would of been dissapointed not to lead at half time with Hutchcox and Passey looking solid and winning any long ball threat. Manoochehri came on for Bridges who took a knock first half and he made an impact immediately. A nice lay-off from Church saw the nippy striker hit a fine right foot shot into the far corner. Billington did well and almost made it two before a Naven-Jones shot was cleared off the line. Studley upped their game and Jack Taylor had to block a shot on the line before a scramble in the box led to Studley appeals that the ball had crossed the line. Studley got their reward for a better second half with a fine goal on the break from Evans that left Cross no chance and they almost took the lead but Cross tipped round the post. With the game ebbing away Linton was put through but his shot was saved by the feet of the keeper and leaver hit a powerful shot that scraped the post before a last gasp header from Linton just went wide at the death. Racing travel to Heath Hayes on Saturday before entertaining Coventry Copeswood on Bank Holiday Monday, kickoff 3pm.
