Racing put Saturday's defeat that ended their unbeaten run behind them to stun league leaders Leicester Road. On a murky and very wet night, Racing started brightly and a Malley shot scraped the post after a slight deflection but Leicester Road soon showed why they were probably the team to beat this season. Possession was dominated by the Hinckley side but a stern Racing defence looked unbreachable. When Leicester did have a sniff the impressive Caviezel-Cox was commanding. Malley looked increasingly isolated up front as the majority of possession was played in the Racing half. Second half and Price was introduced into the middle and this evened things up as he pulled the strings to give Leicester something to concern themselves with. And it was in the 56th minute that the leaders were stunned. Brown picked up the ball on the left and jinked inside and sent a low drive across the keeper into the bottom right corner. This sparked an onslaught and Caviezel-Cox produced a fine stop with his legs to keep Racing in the lead. Continuous wide play, particularly down the right, saw some super crosses but the Racer's defence were magnificent to a man. Despite the pressure this allowed Raicng an outlet and they looked dangerous on the break. Brown struck a post late on which would of eased the nerves. A late challenge on Caviezel-Cox in the last minute caused mayhem to which the referee eventually sent off Checkett's as probably the only one recognisable from the 10 man shoving session.
