Racing Club board member Adam Elswood joined the board in 2018. Adam has been coach of the now Under 16's team for several years and was assistant coach for the youth team in 2016/17. A supporter of the first team for a few years Adams skills in sports performance and football business management were identified and he was brought onto the board.

Adam said 'I have a sports performance and coaching degree and have always had a passion for sports especially football having played all my life. I started coaching to pass on knowledge and to give back to the community and Racing Club was the perfect fit with their ambitions to climb the pyramid. I also work as a data collector for the Premier League, EFL, FA cup, national league and champions league and get to meet a lot of interesting people who have so much experience to learn from. It has been hard, hard work but I think the progress of this club is there for all to see and there is so much scope to grow even further.

The club has moved on so much in the past few years and the plans for the next few will see massive opportunity for the community. I am particularly excited to be responsible for helping draw up the plans that will ensure that the football pathways will be in place at the club. It will help all our junior and academy players to see how they can integrate into our senior teams, be it reserves or first team. This will be a crucial part of the clubs philosophy from the New Year and will really mean opportunity for local players to become as good as they can be as they will get opportunity to train and progress at the next logical level'.
