The pairing will see Racing Club coaches with access to development events such as Foundation Phase Coaching Workshops for Under11s and Youth Development Phase Coaching Workshops for U11s - U16s. Racing's teams will have access to matches versus Coventry City Academy teams amongst other benefits which are hoped to provide pathways in both directions.

We felt that the link with Coventry was not only beneficial to the club because they are our local professional team, keeping travel and time restraints low, but also because the partnership they offer is not something they take lightly, which is what really impressed us. This is not a partnership in name only and will add to our already proven pathways which includes youth, academy and semi-pro football. Racing Club will also be assisting any local players released by Coventry City, safe in the knowledge that they will still be assessed and developed properly'.
