Planning for the new building works at the club near completion with the final flood risk assesment being drawn up. The county council go ahead post the flood assesment is the remaining permission sought and it is hoped this will be achieved in the next few weeks.

The new build will consist of four changing rooms, four referee rooms, 2 classrooms and offices for the academy and a hospitality room overlooking the pitch.

Chairman Gary Vella said 'This is the first of several new investments within the next two years that will help propel our community activity skywards'. Further news will be relayed soon.
