Racing Club Warwick travelled to Lye Town and with the pitch being passed fit, the more pressing issue on the night was the fog which had descended suddenly.
The first half was difficult and the supporters in the main stand could not see past half way to gauge exactly what was happening. Lye opened the scoring on 20 minutes when Hayden Reeves powered in a header. Racing almost equalised right on half time but Nick Seabournes shot was superbly saved by Ben Newey in the Lye goal after Ty Knight had pulled the ball back after a fine run.
Second half and Racing posed much more of a threat and with the fog lifting there was more hope. Nduna squared well for Danny Dubidat but his shot was well saved at the far post. A Dubidat free kick went narrowly wide.
Racing host high flying Coventry United on Saturday before hosting Highgate United on Boxing Day.
