Racing Club Warwick travelled to Derbyshire looking to extend an upturn in form and came away with a well deserved point at league strugglers Gresley.
Early chances were few and far between with the Gresley number 9 firing wide after some good wing play from the Moat Men.
James Wardle making his debut for the Racers was called upon on the in the 20th minute with a fine save but the rebound fell kindly to McKlane Durdy who fired home. The big number 9 fired narrowly wide just before the break.
For the second week running running produced a fine second half. On 61 minutes a Scott Turner ball found Muzzy Nduna on the left and he skipped down the line and sent over a fabulous deep cross for Nick Seabourne to nod in at the far post for his first Racers goal.
Tom Smith and Adam Miles then combined well down the right but Smith's curling effort went over.
Racing looked the more likely to score now and had better possession but it was Gresley who almost snatched it when the number 9 raced through and his shot was superbly saved by Wardle before being cleared by Martin Hutchcox.
Racing are away on Saturday at Selston.
