Racing Club Warwick played their first league game for three weeks and quickly put the FA Cup and Vase defeats behind them.
Warwick begun with Richard Powell and Joe Smith as full backs with Ian Billington and Marc Passey unavailable and Luke Cole started in Central Midfield with Martin Slevin and Sam Beesley alongside.
Luke Cole fire home after just five minutes but instead of settling Warwick, Copsewood looked more likely to score for a long period. Ex Racer Sean Kavanagh had the ball in the net on 16 minutes but was harshly adjudged offside.
Second half and Copsewood despite having more possession were hit on the break when on 66 minutes Trea Bertie unselfishly squared to Ben Mackey edge of area who controlled well and calmly fired home. Just 4 minutes later Wade Malley picked up the ball just inside the Copsewood half and powerfully drove forward before rifling the ball superbly home. 75 minutes and the effervescent Joe Smith who had been moved into midfield cut inside and was brought down. Mackey slotted in the penalty after the keeper had moved early.
Warwick academy players Jarrod Clamp and Madundo Semahimbo 'MJ' came on and looked assured with striker MJ going close on two occasions.
Warwick wrapped up the scoring on 79 after Martin Slevin's corner was superbly headed home at the far post by Sean Castleton.
Warwick travel to Rocester on Saturday 29th after playing a friendly away against Redditch on Tuesday evening.
