Local talented coach joins the Racers

Racing Club Warwick have appointed Stuart Floyd as Youth Team Manager as they continue their drive to ensure opportunity for local talent. Following the appointment of Scott Easterlow as First Team Manager and local coaches Ian Ray, Andy Williams and Brian Halpin to oversee player development, the club moved to bring in local coach Floyd. As a player, Floyd was on the books of Oxford United before representing the Army at the highest level before flourishing for many years as a coach including with the Southam First Team. Club Chairman Gary Vella said 'I was amazed and humbled by the response for the vacancy and we interviewed several people who had great credentials. Stuart not only more than matched their ability but surpassed them with his passion and desire for local talent to flourish, which is exactly what the club is moving towards'. Floyd added 'I am so pleased to be involved with my local club, which has a vision for the future. I am really looking forward to working with the Youth Team and to improve players that hopefully go forward to represent Racing Club Warwick at the senior level'.
